Merchiston Prep pupil fishes to success

PHOTO: supPLIED Merchiston Preparatory School Grade 6 pupil Chase Schmid was part of the provincial U13 KZN team that represented the province at the South African Freshwater Angling National Junior Championships in the December 2016 holidays at Bloemhof Dam in the North West. Chase managed to achieve a 48th place nationally. He caught a total of 41 fish with a  combined weight 27.81kg. This is a pleasing result for his first time at the champs.
