More of the same for Copesville

2016-08-24 06:00

THE great Albert Einstein defined insanity as “doing something over and over again and expecting the same result”.

This echoes voters in the recent local elections who live in the troubled Copesville community.

Was it not them striking and destroying property lately because of a lack of service delivery by ANC councillors?

One would have thought they would use their vote as a powerful weapon and tool in the name of change, but astonishingly this wasn’t to be.

As someone, who used to live in this district, I was bemused to see that the ANC received close to 80% of the vote to keep control.

Come on voters, what were you thinking?

Enjoy more of the same over the next five years.
