THE Pietermaritzburg Children’s Home (PCH), in association with Soccer 4 Kidz will host their annual PCH Charity Cup five-a-side Astro Tournament this weekend, 21 and 22 November at the Northdale FET Campus at the Soccer 4 Kidz Astro Turf Arena.

The tournament hopes to raise funds for PCH and raise awareness for the work Soccer 4 Kidz does in the community. The tournament will host senior teams 16 to over 35 and a junior team, under 13 to 15.

Entry for the junior tournament is free, but limited. Senior joining fee is R500 per team with a maximum of eight players per team with the first 20 registered teams to participate.

The tournament also offers prize money of R2 500 to the senior team winners. Both organisations strive to uplift skills and development in community children. To register a participating team, contact Christopher Mahadeo at 079 517 7729 or email pr@pch.org.za
