THE third annual Pietermaritzburg Jazz Festival returns to Golden Horse Casino on 6 August.

The festival attracts tourists to the city and lives up to its reputation of many city jazz festivals - the Durban Jazz Festival and Cape Town Jazz Festival.

“This show is a wonderful event for those who appreciate an enjoyable day out with family, underscored by great music,” said Golden Horse director of operations and complex feneral manager, Maureen Kivits.

“With acts such as Cassper Nyovest, Thandiswa Mazwai and Thobeka Langa scheduled for this year, the festival caters to a variety of tastes in music.”

Tickets for the Pietermaritzburg Jazz Festival available from Computicket, starting from R200 (general standing), R250 (at the gate) and R500 (VIP). Doors open at 9am.
