THE Mall @ Scottsville reached out to the youth of Pietermaritzburg to recognise good citizens that have made a conscientious effort to make a difference in their community and school environments and positively inspire others to behave in a more selfless way.

Each school term a “good citizen” from each participating school in the Pietermaritzburg area is crowned.

The nominees are chosen by their peers or teachers and are nominated based on the typical qualities of a good citizen.

These pupils have been nominated for their effort to make a difference.
