IT’S time to get rid of those winter blues with an evening of hilarious hypnotic side-splitting entertainment with André The Hilarious Hypnotist as he returns to the Hexagon Theatre for a mixed bag of routines guaranteed to have you in stitches.

It is billed as the only show where your neighbour, friend or family member becomes the star of the show.

André The Hilarious Hypnotist, with his penchant for jokes about Bloemfontein, invites volunteers onto the stage, hypnotises them and then gets them to perform in various routines which will have the audience rolling in the aisles.

With suggestions that vary from the strange to the downright ridiculous, André makes his volunteers impersonate everything from a washing machine, typewriter and goldfish to Superman and a sprinkler.

André, who is a well-known face on the Pietermaritzburg entertainment calendar, promises a show that has undergone major changes over the years, with some suggestions having fallen by the wayside, while other suggestions have grown in popularity, but, at the end of the day, the show is based on a proven tried-and-tested formula that makes it great fun for volunteers and audiences.
