THE Bonela Throne Modelling Academy held its first fashion show at Tembaletu Trust recently.

The academy is the brainchild of Xolisile Ngubane, Face of KZN 2015, with support from Tembaletu. It was formed in January as a course that offers young people a chance to build their modelling skills, their confidence and self-esteem.

Eight models took to the stage showcasing their modelling skills and displaying local designers’ clothes.

The academy’s goal is to attract people, regardless of age and size, to be a part of the initiative and build their skills as either models, photographers, stylists or make-up artists.

For more information about Bonela Throne Academy, find it on Facebook or phone 061 195 1587.
