Teamwork makes PMB schools winners

2016-08-31 06:00

FIVE Pietermaritzburg schools recently took on The Tick-Tock, Don’t Stop Contest at The Mall @ Scottsville in a bid to win R5 000 for their school.

Teams from Longmarket Girls’ School, Maritzburg Christian School, Scottsville Primary School, Woodlands Primary School and Eastwood Primary School each navigated their way through a series of fun challenges designed to test their teamwork abilities.

The rules were simple - the team with the lowest time after completing all the challenges - would be declared the winner.

In an excellent display of speed and teamwork, Woodlands Primary School blazed through to complete all the challenges in a lightning fast time, making them the clear winners of the R5 000 grand prize.

There was also another R5 000 up for grabs for the school that showed the best school spirit. The atmosphere was electric and pupils put on a spectacular effort as they cheered their friends towards the finish. Eastwood Primary School in particular showed fantastic school spirit, making them the deserved winners.

Pupils had a blast, shoppers and parents were thoroughly entertained, and The Mall @ Scottsville once again was able to show their commitment to the community through a fun and entertaining event. - Supplied.
