ACTOR Ntokozo Msibi, well known for his TV roles as Chester on Yizo-Yizo, Vuvu on Zone 14 and his recent role as Amos on Uzalo will be in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday, April 16 at the Easter Picnic in Imbali unit 3.

Event organiser Mduduzi Ndlovu from Mafejatainment Events said he met Msibi some time ago when they were under Mbongeni Ngema Theatre Productions.

“He is very passionate about youth empowerment, and a couple of years ago he was in PMB campaigning against drugs and alcohol. This time around he’s in the city to unearth talent in the arts.”

Ndlovu said he has collaborated with Msibi to host the Easter Picnic, which will give rising artists a chance to showcase their craft.

“This will also be a chance for Msibi to engage with fans because he hardly visits Pietermaritzburg.”

The line-up for the event includes deejays Skydeep, King_Tyza, Mperl, Ali, Nkonka, Sanza and more.

Artists expected to share the stage include Mafeja, Madizah, Muntu Wabantu, Nceku, Abbadakazi, among others.

Entry is R30, and R50 to get your car washed. The event will start at 10am. For more information visit Kasifejatainment on Facebook.
