THE fourth annual Mum’s Mail Ladies Breakfast in association with The Sunflower Fund, sponsored by Sanlam, was held recently at the Victoria Country Club in Pietermaritzburg.

The theme was “vintage” and the guests did not disappoint.

Draped in pearls and vintage lace, the women went to great lengths to put their ensembles together.

The guests enjoyed a pampering hand-and-foot massage courtesy of iNsingizi Spa, complimentary cappuccinos provided by Hirsch’s, a photo booth courtesy of Oakleigh Funeral Home and pop-up shops for indulgent retail therapy.

Each guest was treated to a goodie bag, a gift from B.O.N Natural Oils and breakfast and guest speakers, Sharleigh Wilken and Louise Taylor shared their inspiring, personal stories of survival, triumph and hope.

A pamper package and a home entertainment kit were the raffle prizes of the event, each valued at over R5 000.

Prizes were also awarded to the top three best dressed guests, chosen by fashion designer Karen Monk-Klijnstra.
