THE SPCA Pietermaritzburg Village Market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday from 8am to 12pm. Outside stallholders welcome. Phone 033 386 9267.

The Pietermaritzburg Farmers’ Market is held on Saturdays from 6am to 10am at the PMB Botanical Gardens in Mayors Walk. Inquiries: Mike at 082 886 0687.

The YMCA Sunday Market takes place on the first and last Sunday of every month at the YMCA, Scottsville, from 9am to 3pm (weather permitting). Phone Jenny at 073 500 1244.

Thursday market from 6.30am to 10am in Princess Margaret Avenue. Inquiries: Roger at 083 513 3227.

Miss Mr & Mrs Deaf South Africa 2017

All KwaZulu-Natal deaf community members are invited to enter the Forever Resorts and MDSA - Miss Mr & Mrs Deaf South Africa 2017.

Age Groups:

Miss = Not younger than 20 years and/or older than 28 on 15 September 2017.

Mrs = Not younger than 29 years and/or older than 55 years on 15 September 2017.

Mr = Not younger than 20 years and/or older than 55 years on 15 September 2017.

Breakfast talk at VCC

The 8 Mile Club, which is the charity fundraising arm of the aQuelle Midmar Mile, will be hosting a breakfast talk at Victoria Country Club on Friday, 10 February 2017.

The proceeds will be for DUCT. Ryan Stramrood will be presenting his inspirational talk “Push Past Impossible” at 7am, the day before the aQuelleMidmar Mile.

Weekly mediation classes

GURU Rambaranjis Ashram at 130 Royston Road holds weekly a healing chant and meditation on Tuesday evenings at 7pm and a ladies guided meditation classes on Wednesdays at 10am. Phone 079 880 3924 or 061 171 0066 for more information.

Film club at TAG
