SEPTEMBER 25

Poetry and jazz concert takes place at Winston Churchill Theatre, Scottsville with the theme “Empowering women in arts”. Tickets cost R50 per person.

SEPTEMBER 29

Guitarist Seb Goldswain will be performing at The Dive, Hexagon Theatre in Golf Road, UKZN campus. Goldswain will also be performing at selected venues as part of his mini-KZN tour this month.

SEPTEMBER 16

Msunduzi Artisan Food and Craft Market takes place in the Msunduzi Hospice garden, 200 Zwartkop Road from 11am to 3pm.

OCTOBER 15

The second five-kilometre Color Run takes place at Epworth School at 10am, however, runners are advised to be at the venue by 9.45am. Entries are now open and tickets are available at www.thecolorrun.co.za

SEPTEMBER 14

Join Ree Lighton at a practical and collaborative South African Council for Educators-endorsed workshop to find out more about positive discipline at the Metro Methodist Church Hall on the corner of Peter Kerchoff and Langalibalele streets from 2.30pm to 5pm. The topic will be “how to effectively discipline children without using corporal punishment”. Entrance is R50.
