Birdlife EC: A Sunday morning outing to Swartkops Estuary will take place on 11 October. The first waders and terns will be arriving and there are resident estuary species. Hiking: The Voetsac Hiking Club hold weekend hikes and day walks on a regular basis. Longer hikes are held several times a year. The day walks are held on Saturdays. Algoa Toastmasters (Newton Park): Master the art of public speaking in a friendly, supportive, fun environment. The Algoa Toastmasters Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.
