AFTER the recent success of Pascal Sings Brel and Pascal Sings Piaf, multi-platinum selling recording artist Dr Daniele Pascal presents her A French Affair at La Colline in Port Elizabeth on Friday, September 25.

A recipient of many theatre and community awards, this Ambassador of the French Chanson is an acclaimed actor and playwright, and a household name in South Africa. She is renowned for the music of Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel and other French Café Song genres.

Known as “Piaf” amongst fans, Daniele’s unique style and classic joie de vivre are quintessentially Parisian and synonymous with the spirit of romance of the French chanson. Her repertoire features English and French interpretations of well-known songs of Edith Piaf, Cole Porter, Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Marlene Dietrich, Leonard Cohen, songs from her bestselling albums and her own compositions, as well as Les chant des Alisees (kinders van die wind) and many more. Pieter van Helslandt accompanies Daniele on piano.

Tickets cost R120 per person. Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 7:30pm. Booking essential on 041 379 5548 or email to: la-colline@telkomsa.net. La Colline is situated at 151 Montmedy Road, Lorraine
