E-Waste Collection Day on October 10

AN E-Waste Collection Day will be held on October 10, from 10am to 2pm at Green-acres Shopping Centre’s Entrance 4 (near Ackermans).

All electronic or electrical equipment waste will be safely refurbished, dismantled and/or recycled free of charge.

What is e-waste?

If it uses electricity or a battery it is e-waste. These include:

)Computer equipment

)Washing machines, toasters, kettles and stoves

)Mobile phones

)Printers and scanners

)Printer cartridges

)Electronic toys and gaming consoles

)Batteries

)Power supplies and cables
