Expo for pet and garden lovers

THE Bay Pet Expo and In the Garden Expo, which will be held at the DF Malherbe school this weekend, will be opened with television personality Tanya Visser speaking on the Latest and Greatest Gardening Trends on Friday, October 30 at 7pm, sponsored by In the Garden Expo and Elands.

In suppor of a variety of charities, there is so much to do for visitors of the Expo to be held on October 31 and November 1.

Dog owners can take their pets on an Adventure Walk starting at 7:45am with 100% of the fees going to the charity involved.

There will also be fun dog competitions on Saturday and Sunday, such as obedience competitions, as well as fun dog games competitions with lots of prizes to be won.

A variety of demos include the Rawson Properties EP Dog Jump and EP Agility Championships.

For gardening enthusiasts the fun continues on Saturday and Sunday. Kay from Elands will be talking and visitors are encouraged to bring all their garden-related questions. There will also be demos and talks by the Bonsai Club, Clivia Society and Orchid Society. Liza Vermaak, event organizer, is very happy with all that will be on offer for the public and said the vibe at the expos will be one to be experienced.
