THE Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees welcomes lots of new and old-time favourite artists to the 14th festival, which is going “wild@heart” for 2015.

Facebook followers were given a chance to let the Wildsfees team know whom they would like to see at this year’s festival.

“We had great feedback. The festival is clearly close to the heart of a large number of people from the Eastern Cape and beyond,” says festival director, Jenni Honsbein.

“There were some surprises,” she admits – and these helped the organisers make the final selection for the Saturday evening line-up.

The Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees 2015 takes place from Friday, June 26, until Sunday, June 28.

Desmond Wells, Izak Davel and Nicholis Louw will be performing at the festival for the first time on Saturday, June 27.

Favourites Ray Dylan, Elizma Theron, Kurt Darren and Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels are back by popular demand.

Gates will open at 9am for those wanting to shop at more than 350 stalls or experience the family entertainment throughout the day.

The wild@heart can party late into the night.

Tickets at the gate are R120 for adults and R60 for children. These include the live entertainment on stage.

Tickets are also available from the Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees office on 042 230 0064 or you can go to www.wildsfees.co.za for more information
