THIS year the Bay Pet Expo is joining hands with the In the Garden Expo so visitors will pay one entrance fee and get into two expos.

An action-packed weekend of family fun can be expected at the In the Garden Expo and Bay Pet Expo 2015. which will be held on October 31 and November 1 in Walmer, Port Elizabeth.

The weekend promises to be action-filled, starting with Tanya Visser doing a talk on the Latest and Greatest Trends in Gardening on Friday, October 30 at 7pm.

The gates open at 9am on Saturday with demonstrations, kicking off with the EP Fancy Pigeon Show, EP Dog Jump Championships, EP Agility Championships, and Just Kay Talking, Bonsai demos, to name but a few.

Garden and Pet lovers have so much to see and do, between supporting their favourite animal charity, seeing the shows, listening to talks and demos as well as a variety of exhibitors on offer.

The two marquee tents will host a massive number of exhibitors with some beautiful stands displaying products and services covering a vast spectrum of pets and garden options. Be on the lookout for the Animal Talk Magazine and The Gardener and Die Tuinier stand which is at the expo with everyone getting to walk away with a complimentary magazine or two in hand.

During the expo there are many dog competitions for the public to enter, starting with an Adventure Walk at 7.45am on Saturday. All proceeds go directly to the charities involved.

Liza Vermaak, event organizer, is very excited about all that’s on offer for the public and said the vibe at the expo is one to be experienced. Visitors can bring their pets to the expo but they need to be on leashes and have all vaccinations up to date.
