Are you passionate about cooking and want to expand your skills? Capsicum Culinary Studio, Port Elizabeth Campus, set in the heart of Newton Park, makes it accessible for aspiring chefs who want to pursue a culinary qualification that is internationally endorsed by City andamp; Guilds.

Following your food dream right here in the Eastern Cape, allows you to not only make your mark in the local hospitality industry, but also enter the marketplace anywhere in the world.

As the largest chef school in South Africa the Port Elizabeth campus is one of six campuses nationally. Capsicum provides quality facilities for our students. This environment is developed and maintained to inspire passion and drive creativity.

The Port Elizabeth campus has highly qualified lecturers and dedicated staff who foster an environment that values diversity, passion for learning, creativity and inspiration to achieve. Chef Pieter de Klerk, specialises in hot and cold kitchen and comes with 14 years of industry experience. The highlight of his career was being appointed as an executive chef at the age of 21. Chef Bernice Warner is our pastry expert at the campus. She loves giving back and being a lecturer at Capsicum inspires her to guide prospective chefs who want to enter the industry.

Capsicum Culinary Studio has been helping students develop their love of the culinary arts for years, with both full-time and part-time programmes.

The skills learnt at Capsicum Culinary Studio can open the door to many exciting avenues, including:

•Owning your own restaurant

•Becoming a private chef

•Cruise ship chef

•Food stylist for print or digital media

•Going into product development

•Culinary instructor at a chef school
