A REMINDER to those enthusiastic parents and their babies, between the ages of 0-24 months, to enter the Annual Walmer Park Baby of the year Competition 2015! Two weekends have “flashed” by and we have two weeks remaining, with the last photographs being taken on August 2.

Superb prizes from our generous sponsors - Dischem, the BabyGym, Toddlers’ Workshop, Edubaby, Naartjie, Francarlo Designer Goldsmith, Kodak Photo Excellence, Water Babies, Debbie Louw Photography, Edgars, Pick n Pay, The Matador and Toys R Us will be awarded to the top tots in each age category, Lynette Van Wyk one of the 2015 sponsors who runs the BabyGym and the Toddlers’ Workshop in Port Elizabeth knows the importance of early child development. The Toddlers’ Workshop offers classes from 3 months up to the age of 4 years, every age group focuses on perceptual skills necessary for that specific age.

Lynette says that, “at BabyGym we assist in de-stressing and relaxing the baby, facilitate bonding, assist with sensory awareness and develop body awareness, muscle tone, posture and spatial orientation. To stand a chance in winning fantastic prizes, hurry along to the Edgars court in Walmer Park Shopping Centre to have your little ones smile captured on camera by professional photographer, Debbie Louw, you can also view the photographic display of our precious entries so far. Entries will continue to be received there over the next two weekends, Friday until Sunday, between 10am to 2pm, until the competition draws to a close on August 2, 2015.

The competition costs R50 to enter, with R5 of every entry donated to a children’s charity. You will receive two jumbo-sized photographs, one of which will be displayed in the Edgars Court for the duration of the competition. Once the competition has closed, all photographs can be collected from Kodak, situated in Walmer Park Shopping Centre, shop no. 112.

Visit Walmer Park Shopping Centre with your baby and enter this popular event before Sunday, August 2, 2015. Only entries taken at the in-centre studio by Debbie Louw will be accepted.
