THIS is your last chance to enter the Walmer Park Baby of the year 2015 competition so do not delay! Fantastic prizes are up for grabs so pack up your prams and make your way to the in-centre photographic studio, set up in the Edgars court of Walmer Park Shopping Centre-open this weekend Friday to Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Each day professional photographer Debbie Louw will be ready for some more adorable action!

To enter your little tot please take note that, your baby may not be older than 24 months on August 8, 2015. The age categories for the competition are 0-6 months, 7-12 months, 13-18 months and the new age category is 19-24 months.

Only photos taken by Debbie Louw at the in-centre studio set up in Edgars Court will be eligible for entry. Please ensure that you complete your entry form correctly, including your contact details. The photographic studio will be open on Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, between 10am and 2pm.

Entries cost R50, of which R5 will be donated to a children’s charity. You will receive two beautiful jumbo-sized photos of your baby from Kodak Photo Excellence. These can be collected at Kodak in Walmer Park Shopping Centre from August 12.

Once the competition has closed, our judges will begin the difficult task of choosing the top 10 babies in each age category. All finalists will be notified telephonically by Walmer Park Centre Management on August 4 and their photos will be published in the PE Express. Those finalists must be available to meet our judges for a short interview on Wednesday, August 5, before the final prize-giving event announcing the winners, and 1st and 2nd runners up in each age group. The final prize-giving is scheduled for Saturday August 8, 2015 at 10am in the Walmer Park Centre Court.

The prizes for our top winners include shopping vouchers from Walmer Park Shopping Centre, Pick n Pay, Toys r Us, Cappuccino vouchers from Dulce Café and a meal voucher from John Dory’s, as well as amazing hampers from Dischem, Cherubs and The Matador. Your baby will be stimulated by an array of educational goodies and workshops sponsored by The BabyGym, Toddlers’ Workshop, Edubaby, Water Babies and Baby Builders. Moms can look forward to playing dress up with fashion vouchers from Naartjie Kids, Edgars and beautiful bracelets and pendants from Francarlo Designer Goldsmiths.

Debbie Louw photography and Kodak Photo Excellence will ensure that all these good memories are captured to perfection.

Stand a chance of winning these fabulous prizes, as well as the sought after “Baby of the Year” title. The competition closes this Sunday, August 2 at 2pm!
