Centrestage to head back to the ’80s this weekend

FIRE up your flux capacitors and take an all-new trip back in time this week to relive the music of the 1980s with an amazing 13-piece band as Centrestage gears up to hit 88 miles per hour and head Back to the ’80s at the Hellenic in Conyngham Road from tomorrow until Saturday.

The nostalgic overload features an all-star lineup who will be performing hits from some of the greatest ’80s artists, including Eurythmics, Heart, Alphaville, Men at Work, Foreigner, Prince, UB40, Toto, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, and many more.

This show is also a collaboration between the heads and teachers of four of PE’s top school music departments, namely Grey High (Shawn Lyon), Alexander Road High (Debbie Everard), Greenwood Primary (Devon van Rooyen) and Woodridge (Curtis Kettledas).

Patrons are encouraged to bring their own picnic baskets. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the performance will start at 7:30pm.
