CHILL out with a healthy dose of comedy this summer with sought-after South African comedian, Loyiso Gola, host of the twice Emmy nominated Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola (LNN).

He will whisk into Port Elizabeth for a one-night-only show at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre on December 15.

“When one of country’s most popular award-winning comedians comes to town, there’s only one thing to do: get ready to laugh until it hurts. We are thrilled to have him back at The Boardwalk,” said Vuyiswa King, the Entertainment Manager at The Boardwalk.

Gola is not only one of the most gifted comedians South Africa has ever produced but also one of the most important ones. This prodigious comedy talent has been enthralling live and television audiences with his unique brand of refreshingly frank and outspoken comedy for over a decade.

His comedy journey began at the tender age of 19 when he went to Johannesburg to pursue his dreams. Almost immediately recognised as an up-and-comer not to be taken lightly, he won the Sprite Soul Comedy competition and was runner up in the Professional category of Freshest Five Comedy Competition.

From performing with the Cape Comedy Collective in the Cape Town Comedy Circuit, he has evolved into a comedy phenomenon performing all over the country, as well as appearing on Television, Radio and the Big Screen.

His one-night-only show will take place on December 15. Tickets at R150 are available at Computicket.

Win! Win! Win!
