CHRISTMAS in true German style will once again be on the menu at the annual Weihnachtsmarkt/Christmas Market that will take place from 9:30am on Saturday, November 5, at the Lutheran Church on the corner of Martin Road and Luke Avenue in Springfield.

The market will feature many traditional Christmas decorations for the home and tree, such as Lebkuchen (gingerbread hearts), Continental delicacies and the popular German coffee table packed with Black Forest cakes, cheese cakes and various other homemade fare including Mastertons Coffee.

A traditional lunch menu including Goulasch, Spätzle and Sauerkraut as well as German Sausages and the famous Ludwigsburger will be available. There will also be Banting-friendly cooked meals for lunch.
