Hi’s Place Developing Centre: Will have a prayer service for the sick on 15 May at 6pm. Every Sunday there is a service at 9am and Youth Service at 2.30pm. St Peter’s Congregational Church: The Charity shop and stalls are open on 7 May at the church in Walter Road, Charlo from 9am to 12 noon. Stalls available at R30 each. Lots of bargains up for grabs! Kraggakamma Dutch Reformed Church: Will host Dr Nic Grobler, well-known sculptor and theologian from 6 to 12 May at the church in Broadway Avenue, Sunridge Park. His solo exhibition, Sculpting with a Message, will be opened during a gala event on 6 May at 7pm. On 7 May from 9am to 4pm he will be hosting a ceramic art workshop at the church. Algoa Toastmasters (Newton Park): Master the art of public speaking in a friendly, supportive, fun environment. The Algoa Toastmasters Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.
