Charity Soccer Day: BLC Attorneys will be hosting a charity soccer day on 17 September from 9am to 4 pm at St George’s Park Sports field in aid of the Thandusana Baby Haven in Newton Park. AACL Charity Shop: The Animal Anti-Cruelty League is in need of second hand goods for their Charity Shop, The Bargain Box, in 9th Avenue Shopping Centre, Walmer. Good secondhand clothing, bric a brac, household goods, jewellery, books and linen would be greatly appreciated. All proceeds go towards caring for animals in the northern areas. ) entertainment NMMU Performing Arts Festival: The kick-off of the festival is today and will run until 21 September in the NMMU North Campus Auditorium. It will be featuring the NMMU Drama Society, Umjuxuzo Alive, a special performance by Professor Darshan from India, and many more.
