Dirk Ellis Volkswagen to host fun run

2016-04-06 06:00

DIRK Ellis Volkswagen will be hosting its first annual fun run for the Hope for Kids project on Wednesday, April 27 at Londt Park Sports Club in PE.

The Hope for Kids project is an Evangelistic programme offering Christian upliftment to young people especially learners at schools. The project is part of a global programme, the Evangelism Explosion (EE).

Funds are essential to equip teachers, parents, pastors and young workers with the knowledge to offer the programme at schools and other venues.

Runners or walkers can take part in either the 8km or 5km. The entry fee for both distances is R35 per entry.

Entry forms are available at Londt Park Sports Club (Fernglen), Brian Bands Sports (Cape Road), Sportsmans Warehouse (Moffett Retail Park) or at Dirk Ellis Volkswagen (Jeffreys Bay).

The first 800 to finish will receive a medal. Category winners will receive a cash prize and entrants also stand a chance to win great prizes in the lucky draw. A R5 000 cash prize is on offer for the school with the biggest bulk entry (bulk entries may include scholars and/or parents).

More info is available at www.dirkellis.co.za/FunRun or from any of the following organisers: Elizna Theron at 071 473 5849, John Grobler at 073 155 5551 and Jan Coetzee 072 320 2844. – REPORTER
