DOWWE Dolla has been South Africa’s most loved dumb blonde for more than two decades now and she is bringing her special brand of comedy to Nelson Mandela Bay.

In her latest show, she will explore the vast world of social media.

Because social media is where “everything is happening” nowadays, it’s only right that Dolla investigate this phenomenon.

In the process of trying to understand the difference between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Solitaire, Dolla discovers why women still keep men around and explains the real secret behind a braai which, in turn, leads to heavy topics such as Trophy hunting, arachnophobia, white guilt, and Hannibal Lecter.

This latest show will feature “Ouma Dowe Dolla” (also performed by Margit Meyer-Rödenbeck) for the first time to give a more historical (or maybe hysterical) perspective to everyday life in South Africa.

Expect another “laugh a minute” verbal-tsunami from SA’s favourite blonde on February 9 at the Barkly Street Theatre in Uitenhage at 8pm.

Tickets at R120 are available at 082 809 4272.
