HE’S doing it again. Port Elizabeth Hip Hop artist, Azi Dladla will be Launching his third album, Me, Myself and Music on Saturday, August 6 at Daku Hall.

The artist, formerly known as Azz Veritazz, caused a stir with his debut album The beginning of the end, which he recorded at the tender age of 15 with his father, Nceba Dladla, little sister, Zipho and friend Licebo Vatyane and is back at it with a piece of work which he describes as ‘game changing’.

Both community and national radio stations like Umhlobo Wenene FM, Tru FM, Algoa FM, Bay FM and Inkqubela “KQ” FM are currently playing Azi’s music.

He has also featured in festivals and shows in Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Kirkwood such as the Nelson Mandela Bay Music Festival, Ebubeleni Music Festival, Splash Festival, Kirkwood Wildsfees and many more.

It is songs like “Dlamini”, “Not Afraid” and “My Love” that have been receiving a lot air time on radio stations.

“The first album was meant to introduce me to the market and it did well in and around Nelson Mandela Bay and the surrounding areas.  But the new project is going to take me far,” said Azi.

Artists featured on the album are, King Meezy, SA Hip hop award winning rapper Yahkeem, Ghananian rapper and Producer Fortune Dane and many other award winning African artists.

Also featured are up and coming PE rappers 360 Degreez and Isaac Wilson.

Though he is still true to his Hip Hop sounds, Azi said that this new project includes a lot of new sounds and styles.
