AS part of the company’s social responsibility programme, staff from Hollywoodbets Korsten recently donated several essential items to Sinethemba Children’s Care Centre.

The centre first opened its doors in 2001 when the founder, Mama Signoria, decided that it was time to step in and help give children a future.

It provides a permanent home for 26 children who have been abandoned and would otherwise have been living on the street.

Mama Signoria believes in the importance of education and she ensures that the children all attend school.

Team members from the Korsten branch of Hollywoodbets visited Sinethemba to deliver several essential household appliances, including an urn and some irons.

They also donated school jerseys for the children.

Avril Landman, secretary at Sinethemba, thanked Hollywoodbets for their support.

“This is the second donation that we’ve received from Hollywoodbets and it really helps us to function a lot better and to offer the children a more comfortable life,” she said.
