NONI Mafani, who will be representing Port Elizabeth in the Mrs Africa 2016 Grand Finale in November this year, is holding a gala dinner in aid of giving girls in Africa their dignity back.

Noni , as one of the Top 40 finalists who will compete for one of five Mrs Africa 2016 titles, is focusing on Humanitarian work in South Africa through the Mrs Africa Foundation.

The focus of this is on giving dignity back to young girls on the African Continent via Dignity Dreams, a charity that supplies underprivileged girls and women with washable and reusable sanitary wear.

Each of the finalists must host their own charity initiatives.

Noni is currently planning her charity initiative, the Mrs Africa Foundation Gala dinner in aid of Dignity Dreams and The Nzuri Project, which aims to educate and treat women in the Eastern DRC that suffer from various medical conditions.

The event, which is sponsored by The Radisson Blu Hotel and Designer Décor Rental PE, is black tie and will take place on August 20 at 7pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

There will be several inspirational speakers at the event, including Pumeza Bono and Bongiwe Mafani, and entertainment from local talent such as Loyiso Gijana and Zoleka Mtila.

Tickets are available at R400 per person.

For more info, contact Noni on 060 555 4933.
