Musical variety at NMMU Weis Concert

NMMU is once again showcasing the amazing talent of their alumni, students and community with their Alumni Festive Concert@Weis.

The concert is in aid of the Alumni Bursary Fund and will include solo, choir, organ, string and horn performances.

Adrian Jonas and Mieke Struwig will perform on the clarinet, while Elsje Nelson and Alfred Felkers will perform David Foster and Andrew Lloyd Webber compositions as a duet.

The Northern Areas School Choir Organisation (NASCO) will also perform a few songs including Largo by Handel and New York New York with Marvin Draai as a soloist.

Romano Jonathan will also accompany the choir as the organist with Venita Van Wyk as the conductor.

The NMMU Alumni Festive Concert@Weis will take place on Sunday, July 17 at 2:30pm at the Weis Congregational Church in Schauderville.

Tickets are R20 for adults and R10 for pensioners and scholars.
