National qualifier races at Victory

Victory Raceway’s next event, the second round of the DO4SA Heavy Metal National Championship and a national qualifier for all other classes, will take place on August 5 at the racetrack in Victoria Drive, Walmer. The competing classes will be stockrods, 1660’s, 2.1 modifieds, heavy metals and American saloons. The gates will open at 1pm and racing will commence at 5pm. Entry is R60 for adults and R20 for children under the age of 13. For more info contact Maggie on 082 656 8830. VICTORY Raceway will host the second round of the DO4SA Heavy Metal National Championship as well as a national qualifier for all other classes on August 5.

The first round of the DO4SA Heavy Metal National Championship was held at Kleinplaas Mega in Worcester.

Among the 28 entrants, Abri Pienaar and Henry Muller from PE are 5th and 2nd in the points.

Drivers from Worcester, Oudtshoorn and George will travel to PE for this event.

Classes competing will be Stockrods, 1660’s, 2.1 Modifieds, Heavy Metals and American Saloons.

Gates open at 1pm and racing starts 5pm. Tickets cost R60 for adults and R20 for children under 13. Track parking is R20 per vehicle.

Braai facilities are available as well as foodstalls.
