Pearson to host Interact Fun Run

THE Pearson High School Interact Club will be hosting the Gold 5km Fun Run in aid of the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

“We have named our event the Gold Fun Run because a gold ribbon is the symbol of children’s cancer awareness,” said Lauren Stevenson, Pearson’s Interact Secretary.

The event will be involving the entire city. Various schools and their Interact clubs are joining Pearson in raising money for cancer patients.

“We believe this event represents the true spirit of the friendly city as it unites its citizens while helping those in need,” Stevenson said.

The Gold 5km Fun Run will take place on February 4 at Pearson High School.
