DON’T know what to do with the kids when schools break for the holiday on Friday? Bring the family to the PE Express First Choice Kids and Baby Expo this weekend where various forms of entertainment await the kids and the adults can browse the 90 awesome stands.

The Eastern Cape’s biggest and best family expo will open on Friday at 9am and run until Sunday at the Boardwalk Exhibition Centre.

Enjoy the all-day free indoor entertainment, from shopping to fashion shows, free face painting, climbing walls, biking, pedal go-karting and cricket and soccer fun.

There will also be a delicious café rest area to put up your weary feet and tantalise the taste buds.

The café area will also host the fun Kids Expo Selfie Booth with quirky props and give you a chance to meet and take a photo with Spiderman, First Choice’s Milki Moo mascot, and other much-loved characters such as Barney, Mr Pritt, Elsa, Moana, Minion and Tinkerbell!

The expo will once again proudly be partnered with their favourite milk brand, First Choice, who will headline the First Choice All Day Action Stage with their popular smoothie competition.

The Boardwalk will be supplying the ingredients for the competition, from yoghurts to delectable sprinkles and fruits.

One of their chefs will have the hard task of judging the children’s delicious smoothie creations and First Choice is supplying bumper hamper prizes to make it worth their while.

Algoa FM’s Briony Sparg and Charlton Tobias will be hosting the event and keeping visitors up to date on the entertainment and action schedule throughout the three-day family fun weekend.

The all-day stage programme includes daily puppet shows, reptile shows by Jeru of Animals in Wonderland, soccer fun, yo-yo competitions, fashions shows and more!

“PE Express First Choice Kids and Baby Expo is an outing for the whole family – great entertainment for the kids, and an informative break for parents to chat one-on-one with top family friendly businesses and take advantage of many expo specials,” said expo director, Linda Harwood.

Entry to the expo will be R40 for adults and R25 for kids and pensioners. Babies under 12 months free.
