A COLLABORATION among three of Nelson Mandela Bay’s best vocalists will bring the best in Motown music to Port Elizabeth audiences.

The Sound Of Motown sees André Mackay of ChapterTHREE, Craig Louw of Genesix and Courtney Williams of Just Us join forces to take the audience on a nostalgic trip down memory lane on April 29 and 30 at the Boardwalk Amphitheatre.

The music will be complemented by heartwarming stories and comedic skits to show and play out those fond memories by funnyman Boeta B.

“I wanted to bring together the best voices in the Bay to bring the popular songs from the 70s and early 80s to life. Accompanied by a three-piece band we will render classics by Motown Records alumni such as The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight,” said André MacKay, who doubles both as producer and cast member of the show.

Doors open at 7:30pm and the show begins at 8pm. Tickets are R100 per person and available from Westway Café at 349 Cape Road or by calling André on 083 357 1960.
