THE Sasol Ladies’ Coastal Stream is nearly at an end, but some of the teams failed to honour their games on Saturday.

To the dismay of loyal football supporters who pitched up in large numbers, the Sophakama Ladies did not even get to kick a ball when the East London side Birmingham City failed to arrive on time at the Zwide Stadium.

The Sophakama Ladies were therefore awarded soft points over City.

The City Ladies, who are title contenders, also did not sweat for an extra three points over Uitenhage lasses Manchester Babes, who did not even arrive at the Chevrolet Stadium in New Brighton.

The Mustang Ladies caused a great deal of disappointment when they got a hard- earned 2-1 away victory over log leaders Thunderbirds in East London.

Despite their loss to Mustangs, the Thunderbirds are still on top of the Sasol Ladies Coastal Stream log table.

On the other hand, struggling Nelson Mandela Bay side Golden Stars failed to register a home win over the struggling University of Fort Hare in their game that ended in a goalless draw at Gelvandale Fields.

Other Sasol Ladies’ Inland Stream results:

Amanqilo 0-2 Eastern Rangers

Mqanduli Ambassadors 1-2 Red Roses

Golden City 1-1 Executive Ladies

Cumakala Ladies 10-0 All Stars.
