ALEXANDER Road High School’s renowned drama and music departments are well under way with their rehearsals for the 2017 production of The Addams Family.

The show will feature an effortless amalgamation of pupils and staff who are set to haunt the stage at the Savoy Theatre from May 2 to 13.

This musical comedy is directed by Greg Everard who is well known in Port Elizabeth for his award-winning shows. Assisting him is the incomparable musical team of Nici Coleman (music director) and vocal coaches Debbie Everard and Dario Broccardo.

Chireen Ferreira, who has more than 30 years’ experience on both local and international stages, is in charge of the choreography.

The roles of Morticia and Gomez Addams are played by Minkie-Ann Grundill and Cliffie Kleb respectively, two staff members who are no strangers to the stage.

They are supported by a cast of talented young Alexans who are keen to show Port Elizabeth that creepy can be cool.

Tickets are available at Computicket.
