Fire breathes new life in fynbos

2015-09-15 06:00

About six months ago Cape Town was rocked by raging fires, almost the worst in Cape Town’s history.

Also very sad was that innocent firefighters lost their lives while struggling to bring the fires under control.

Sadder was that while some of the fires were started through carelessness, others were arson! What kind of monster would do that? And how do they live with their conscience or don’t they have one? However, barely six months after the devastating fires destroyed thousands of hectares of vegetation signs of new life can be seen everywhere – the most beautiful flowers and fynbos. No-one planted it there, feed it or look after it, yet it is there and so beautiful.

If that isn’t a sign that God is alive then I really don’t know what is. Only God can create something so perfect
