Help police find robbers

2015-06-16 06:00

The police are appealing to anyone who can shed light on the identity and whereabouts of three unknown men who robbed a jewellery store to come forward.

It is alleged that the suspects entered the store in Access Park in Claremont on Thursday last week like potential clients before one of them produced a firearm.

The suspects then held the staff at gun point and demanded the keys to the safe. Once the safe was opened, the suspects removed several watches, diamond rings and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing from the scene in a getaway car, a white Quantum minibus taxi, which was parked nearby.

No shots were fired and no injuries sustained.

Anyone with information should contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Ganief at the Claremont police on 021 657 2255 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111
