Night runs on the beach

An exciting Night Beach Run series kicks off in Cape Town this month.

This first-of-its-kind series consists of four events starting at 19:00 and presented by Cape Town Beach Cleanup. There is a 2km fun walk and 5km run.

The Milnerton Lighthouse hosts runs on 20 May and 24 June and Dolphin Beach hosts a run on 3 June.

Entry costs R80 and entrants will receive a buff, bracelet, medal (handmade by a project in Joe Slovo), a glow stick and refreshments.

The money raised will go towards feeding 40 children in Joe Slovo Park for a year.

There will be a limit of 100 entrants per race
