Quality cycling at interprovincial champs

2015-11-03 06:00

Cycling enthusiasts can look forward to four days of top racing with this year’s SA Omnium Track Championship, an interprovincial and Grand Prix event at the Bellville Velodrome from tomorrow to Sunday.

The Pedal Power Association (PPA) extended a helping hand to Western Cape Cycling by coming on board as sponsor for the championship, following an urgent plea for funding help in the lead-up to the event. Some 150 cyclists are expected to participate, including regional teams from Gauteng, the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape, as well as a large turnout of local riders.

Spectators are welcome to attend any of the races and entrance is free.
