Police are looking for three men following a house robbery in Lansdowne on Monday.

At 03:40, a 27-year-old man woke up to find all the lights were on in his Quick Road home, confirms police spokesperson Sergeant Nkululeko Mnyaka.

“He was sleeping and woke up to find the lights on after switching them off before going to bed,” says Mnyaka.

“He thought it was a dream but saw two men, one armed with a firearm and another with a knife. The suspects demanded money. The man gave them R200 from his wallet and they took two Nokia cellphones,” says Mnyaka.

The suspects then continued searching the house before leaving.

The complainant also noticed that another suspect was waiting outside while the two were busy inside the house.

A case of house robbery has been opened for investigation.

No shots were fired and no injuries were sustained.

No arrests have been made.

One of the suspects was about 1.8m tall and was wearing a red baseball jacket, black tracksuit pants and red and white takkies.

Another suspect was about 1.6m tall, dark of complexion and wearing a grey jacket.

Anyone with information on the incident are urged to phone the Lansdowne police on 021 700 9000 or 082 576 2804
