Bowls season in full swing

The bowls season promises to be exciting with various leagues already underway.

The clubs in the province are battling it out for top honours.

The women’s sides are currently underway in the Muter competition, with the men in flag and mixed teams in trips.

Durbanville Bowling Club plays host to the ever-popular Masters tournament on 19 and 20 March. The elite tournament is exclusive to invited players and promises a showcase of top-class bowls.

Teams from across the country will flock to Cape Town for the All Cape Tournament, which is one of the season’s highlights. The tournament will take place from 24 to 30 April.

Entries are still open for the tournament, which is played every four years. The venue is not yet confirmed.
