The Cape Town Cycle Tour MTB Challenge, staged over two days, will kick-start the annual Cape Town Cycle Tour Lifecycle Week when it returns to Stellenbosch in March next year.

The Challenge will test every skill and fitness level, with five routes – 14km, 20km, 30km, 40km and 55km – to choose from. Each expertly designed route will feature scenic wine farms.

Riders will tackle the 14km, 20km and 30km trails on Saturday 4 March. These three routes are shorter and perfect for those still honing their MTB skills, or those looking for an enjoyable ride with family and friends. They will still offer a fair level of challenge and a great mix of scenery.

The second day promises to be a cracker for the racing enthusiasts, tackling one of the longer and tougher routes – the 40km or 55km routes.
