A day of fun, food and water splash was enjoyed by many children in Parkwood on Saturday.

A fund-raising initiative for Parkwood Primary School was held on Saturday, next to the school grounds, on the corners of Blackbird Avenue and Acacia roads.

The fund-raiser was in aid of the project currently being run at the school through the help of a group of American students from Engineers for a Sustainable World’s (ESW) Chapter at Stanford University.

The students, together with another NGO Bottomup which provides children in the primary schools of Parkwood and Perivale with enriching educational opportunities that support their development, started the Parkwood Technology Centre two years ago as part of a class on sustainable design.
