Fun park at GrandWest

2016-11-29 06:00

There will be plenty to keep little ones entertained during the school holidays this December when Sun Exhibits at GrandWest will be turned into a giant Fun Park.

Presented by Eventful Parties and Bakgat Promotions, the Fun Park will be open from Friday 16 December to Tuesday 10 January, offering fun for the whole family.

A pop-up play park, complete with jumping castles, obstacle courses, cool characters, inflatable soccer goals and photo frames will keep younger children busy, while those a little older might want to try one of the many carnival rides on offer.

Traditional rides on offer include a Ferris wheel, pedal go-karts, the lady bugs, aeroplane and horse rides and a toy ride, but those looking for a little more adventure can enjoy the tornado, spiral jet, kangaroo ride, jumping star, bungee trampoline, rocket parachute simulator, space gyro or the rodeo bull. Visitors can also enjoy an ice cold cooldrink or a slush puppy at the kiosk accompanied by live entertainment and even music on some of the days.

There will always be something new on the menu and visitors are encouraged to keep an eye on the Bakgat Promosies and Eventful Parties Facebook pages for news on special events.

The fun park will be open daily from Friday 16 December until Tuesday 10 January 2017, from 11:00 until late. Entry prices start at just R20. Play Park sessions last half an hour.

V For more information, call the fun park organisers on 082 895 5093 or 082 619 8389.
