For some jazzy sounds on Sunday be at Sacs in Rondebosch when they host their annual Jazz in the Garden concert.

Starting at 15:00 the free event is held in the courtyard of the school.

Readers can bring along a picnic basket and a blanket to enjoy an afternoon relaxing and listening to the sounds of music from the bands and ensembles of the school.

The concert, in an informal setting, showcases the high school’s big band, the junior jazz and concert bands, the marimba band, the choir and various ensembles.

A highlight of the event is the 50-piece concert band, conducted by Levi Alexander, which will tour to Germany and Austria next year.Visitors will also listen to the singing from the 70-strong young male choir, conducted by Warren Patientia.
