Jewellery thieves caught

Strandfontein police have arrested two men in connection with a robbery.

On Monday 12 September at 15:00 a man was robbed of his jewellery by two unknown men in Strandfontein.

The men threatened the complainant with a firearm and robbed him before they fled on foot.

Strandfontein Vispol officers then received information from residents of the whereabouts of the suspects and arrested them.

Both men remain in custody pending further investigation.

V Anyone with information on the robbery is urged to call Detective Constable Sammy Mokghanye on 021 370 1501 or 079 894 1208.
