Mutt of the Year competition reopens

2016-11-15 06:00

The Cape of Good Hope SPCA Mutt of the Year offers dog owners from around the Peninsula a chance to share their special bond with happy, healthy dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes.

“This special dog show is a wonderful celebration of the positive role pets have in the lives of people, as well as a joyful demonstration of just how fantastic shelter dogs are alongside their pure-bred cousins,” says the SPCA’s Tara McGovern.

After an absence of six years, the Mutt of the Year competition is making a welcome return to the local events calendar.

The show is scheduled for Saturday 19 November. The show will be held from 13:00 until 16:00 at Portswood House at the V&A Waterfront, at the croquet lawns outside the Springbok Museum and entry is R100 per dog.V Contact Juan August on 021 700 4180 or email events@spca-ct.co.za or visit capespca.co.za for more information.
